Anne May Vallance (Spence), of Toronto, formerly of Listowel, died peacefully in her home on March 7, 2024 at the remarkable age of 102.
Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband, John (Jack) Vallance, her parents George and Isabelle Spence, her brother Bruce Spence, sister-in-law Lilian Spence and her nephew Brian Spence.
After graduating from Listowel High School, Anne became a teacher. She taught for two years in Dorking and then finished her teaching career in Toronto. She remained in contact with many of her colleagues and students over the years.
Anne enjoyed travelling the world with Jack, spending time at her cottage and gardening. Her quick wit was enjoyed by many.
The interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, April 3 at 11 a.m.
