Andy Schuitema passed away peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 in his 99th year. Beloved husband of the late Alberdina Schuitema. Dear father of Irene Scott (Everett) of Listowel, Jack Schuitema (Sherry) of Williamsford and Benedict Schuitema (Laurie) of Harriston. Loving grandfather of Lindsay Scott (Kevin McMillen), Robert Scott, Tonia Watters, Joshua, Brandon, Tyler, Michael and Rachael Schuitema. Great grandfather of Colton McMillan. Brother of Kunne Schuitema of Holland. Predeceased by his parents Jakob and Anna Schuitema, brothers Jan, Wessel, Roelof, Piet and sister Ge.
The family would like to thank Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston Hospital and Dr. Chu for their care.
A Private Family Service will be conducted by Rev. Ken Labbe followed by spring interment in Palmerston Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or Palmerston Christian Reformed Church would be appreciated by the family.
