In the early hours of March 15, 2022, Allan (Al) Morris of Milton, peacefully passed away in his 82nd year, surrounded by his family. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years, Aileen, his brother Bob Morris of Keswick (Sandie) and by his children Kim and Kevin (Shannon). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Taylor, Colton, Jake, Aidan and Emma as well as his many nieces and nephews. Al is predeceased by his parents, Jim and Verna Morris of Chestow, his in-laws, Wilmer and Irene Cooper of Walkerton and his brothers Carl and Victor. Al was outgoing, funny and friendly and made friends wherever he went. What Al loved the most was being “Bumpa” to his grandchildren and he was happiest cheering them on in the sporting, cheer and dance events. Nothing could stop him from driving across the province to watch them compete. A special thank you to the ICU nurses and doctors at the Milton Hospital for taking such compassionate care of Al and keeping him comfortable throughout his time there. A celebration of life will be held at J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James St., Milton (905) 878-2669 on Thursday March 24, 2022 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Private cremation has taken place. Burial will take place in Chepstow, Ontario at a later date.If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Milton District Hospital would be appreciated.
