Aganetha Thiessen of Palmerston passed away at Palmerston Hospital on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the age of 60.
Loved wife of Brian Kay. Mother of Jake Klassen of Fordwich, and grandmother of Joshua and Alyssa. Sister of Dave & Maria Thiessen of Langton, Margaret & George Klassen of Tillsonburg, George & Margaret Thiessen of Tillsonburg, Maria & Abe Hiebert of Mexico, Helena & Henry Boese of New Hamburg, Anna & Abe Boese of Mexico, Jake & Nancy Thiessen of Springfield, Sara & Jake Klassen of Elmira, Pete & Kary Thiessen of Arthur, Henry & Helen Thiessen of Tillsonburg, and Tina Thiessen of Elmira, and sister-in-law of Nancy Thiessen of Seminole, and Lisa Sturgen of Brussels. Daughter-in-law of Pat Kay of Leith, and sister-in-law of Stacey & Derek Longmuir of Burlington. Predeceased by her parents David & Margaret (Harms) Thiessen, and by her father-in-law Michael ‘Mickey’ Kay.
Visitation was held at Parkview Gardens (Listowel Legion, 565 Elizabeth St. E., Listowel) on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiated. Reception followed. Interment was in Leith Cemetery.
