PERTH EAST – One person is facing charges in the Township of Perth East following an incident on the morning of March 31.
Perth County OPP say just before 10 a.m. police responded to a report from a citizen of “a suspicious male with a broken-down off-road vehicle” on Road 145 in Perth East.
According to police, when officers arrived on scene, the male had fled, but was located shortly after. During the investigation, it was confirmed the off-road vehicle, which had been repainted, was stolen.
Charged is Barren Yundt, 30, of North Perth. Yundt has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and failure to comply with release order.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
