N.E.A.T. meet at Monkton Diner

It’s not every day that you see a retired farmer from the New Hamburg area set off on a two-hour tractor trek to enjoy breakfast with his friends at a country restaurant in Monkton. Laverne Gingerich, 83, driving his 1945 WC Allis Chalmers, did exactly that when he drove to the Monkton Diner recently where he met members of the North Easthope Antique Tractor Club (N.E.A.T.). Laverne Gingerich, 83, driving his 1945 WC Allis Chalmers, did exactly that when he drove to the Monkton Diner recently where he met members of the North Easthope Antique Tractor Club (N.E.A.T.).
