Mustangs top St. Anne’s in final, move on to WOSSAA championships

The F.E. Madill varsity girls’ hockey team won the Huron-Perth championship on Feb. 22 in Wingham, defeating St. Anne’s 3-1 in the final. Madill now advances to the WOSSAA ‘A’ finals in London on March 7. Madill girls finished at the top of the Huron-Perth standings at the end of the regional varsity hockey regular season, and at the top is where they remained after the Mustangs ran the table during the 2023 high school postseason.
