Despite the many lockdowns and obstacles faced this year, students from Schweitzer’s Martial Arts in Wingham didn’t allow that to stand in their way. They persevered. And even though Schweitzer’s Martial Arts, was unable to instruct in-person for most of the year, many students decided to continue their training virtually. That persistence and dedication paid off, with some students earning new belt ranks in recent months. Such students include Catherine Varillas (left), who earned her Orange Belt this past spring. Spencer Yu (centre) earned his Orange Stripe Belt at the end of June, and Cohen Schnurr (right) just recently earned his Orange Belt.
