LMH Auxiliary hosts radiothon event in Listowel, Oct. 21

The 22nd annual CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon and its supporters fulfilled their pledge and then some to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation through its fundraiser on Oct. 21, bringing in over $80,000 for a new ‘Operating Room Bundle’ for the local hospital. LMHF’s initial Radiothon goal was $70,000, with the event raising over $488,000 for eight regional hospital foundations as of press time. The LMH Foundation hosted a local fundraising event on Saturday at Knox Presbyterian Church in Listowel, including live music by The Classics, and a bake sale courtesy of the LMH Auxiliary, with members pictured – Susan Anderson, Brenda Cornell, Wilma Cherrey, Linda Hersch and Rhonda Beirnes.
