LISTOWEL – On Sept. 20 just before 12 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a shoplifter at a business on Mitchell Road South in Listowel.
A loss prevention officer observed an individual attempting to take items from the business without purchasing. All items were recovered.
As a result, Brianna Hillier, 32, of Listowel, has been charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting.
The accused in this matter was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date.
