LISTOWEL – On July 20, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with the assistance of the Grey-Bruce CSCU, Wellington CSCU, Perth County OPP, and the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence in Listowel.
As a result of the search warrant, police seized drugs, cash, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and property.
The search warrant was executed at a residence on Inkerman Street East, Listowel, where two people were arrested. As a result of this investigation, police seized cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone pills, psilocybin, LSD, cannabis marihuana, and cannabis resin. The estimated combined street value of the controlled drugs and substances was over $13,000. Police also seized cash, offence- related property consisting of drug trafficking paraphernalia and property, including a motorcycle, with a total value of over $30,000.
Jason Drager, 49, of Listowel, is charged with: Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – other drugs, possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule III substance (two counts), and possession for the purpose of distributing.
Lisa Drager, 48, of Listowel, is charged with: Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – other drugs, possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule III substance (two counts), and possession for the purpose of distributing.
Both of the accused persons have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
