LISTOWEL – One person is facing charges following a domestic incident in the Municipality of North Perth.
On Sept. 29 just after 8 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of several incidents that occurred previously in Listowel. During the investigation, it was learned that one person had been assaulted.
As a result, a 22-year-old resident of Listowel was arrested and charged with: Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm – spousal, assault cause bodily harm – choke, suffocate or strangle, assault – spousal, and assault.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
