NORTH PERTH – One person is facing a criminal charge as a result of a domestic incident in North Perth.
On Oct. 23 at approximately 12 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police was dispatched to a domestic incident, and a previously unreported assault that occurred earlier in the month was disclosed. Police attended and an investigation was initiated.
As a result, a 43-year-old resident of Listowel was arrested and charged with assault – spousal.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
