Listowel 4-H Dairy Club hosts fundraising BBQ

Pictured serving up a barbecue lunch at the Listowel Peavey Mart on Aug. 20 is Listowel Fair Ambassador Hayleigh Royce with her fellow 4-H members Natalie Robinson and Addison Barclay. The Listowel 4-H Dairy Calf Club raised $266.22 from the barbecue last Saturday. The club graciously appreciated the food and drink donations from Peavey Mart, as well as the donations from the patrons as there were several monetary donations made without a food purchase. If you missed the barbecue but would still like to support 4-H, patrons can purchase a clover at any Peavey Mart store until Aug. 27 with proceeds donated to 4-H Ontario. (Kelsey Bent photo)
