Lions Club of Wingham hosts BBQ fundraiser

The Lions Club of Wingham held a fundraising barbecue at Foodland on Friday. Proceeds from the event will be directed to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. This organization trains dogs to become guide dogs, and provide them to applicants free of charge. It is estimated that it costs $35,000 to breed, train and match a dog with an applicant.
