Nato boys and their toys

Dear Editor:

Boys will be Boys and boys need their toys. And if they wanna play in Trump’s sandbox…they better bring their own.

Because he’s not sharing.

And those toys better be of high caliber Tonkas similar to the ones Emperor Trump paraded out recently. Or of comparable tonnage of his playful bunker busters. The ones he recently dropped on Iran’s own underground sand box.

Now usually most boys have to ask Santa Claus for new toys. And wait til Christmas, but it seems doubtful that here in Canada our boy wonder PM Mark Carney can’t wait that long. And it was doubtful that Santa can stuff $140 billion worth of F-35s and nuclear subs in his sack.

So it appears that Christmas will now come early for Carney as well as his NATO pals. And taxpayers around the world will be paying the tab on the boys wish list of toys – albeit with the exception of Spain, which kept its sanity and decided it didn’t want to play in Trump’s global sandbox.
