To the editor,
I can see there’s a lot of attention being paid to the Catholic School Board Trustee race here, and rightly so. I attended the all-candidates meeting in Brockton on Sept. 28 where the chair of the board, Lori Di Castri (current trustee for Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss & Brockton 31) emphatically proclaimed that she would like to see the Pride flag flying everywhere, even over our church!
Catholic voters need to know that this is a part of Ms. Di Castri’s platform and, it seems, of perhaps some of the other candidates in Grey-Bruce area.
Please do your homework and research what your candidate stands for. Lord knows you have a great responsibility as parents and you have chosen Catholic education for a reason.
