Dear Editor,
Your two reporters for the Split Decision column need some editorial encouragement to develop their critical thinking and writing skills. Both seemed to have accepted the interfering conclusion of PM “Selfie Socks” that something is wrong with the Justice System. It’s insulting to believe that a white judge and 12 white jurors could not examine the evidence and acquit a white defendant who killed an aboriginal without everyone being considered racist.
If your reporters can develop their independent thoughts instead of presenting a slight nuance of the same false premise, then the vs. (suggesting opposing viewpoints) will be more evident and interesting to your readers.
