Through the midway point of the 2023 varsity girls’ field hockey campaign, LDSS (4-2) finds itself sitting in third place in the Huron-Perth Athletics standings following a win and a loss in its only home games of the season on Sept. 20. The Lightning dropped a 4-2 decision to the first-place Goderich D.C.I. Vikings (4-0) early last Wednesday before blanking the St. Marys Salukis (2-4) 4-0 in the afternoon.
