LDSS junior girls’ volleyball team concludes regular season

The Listowel District Secondary School junior girls’ volleyball team concluded its winter regular season schedule on Feb. 9 with a home matchup against top-seeded St. Michael Catholic Secondary (9-0), with the Lightning (5-4) falling in straight sets, 10-25, 10-25. Despite the loss, LDSS advanced to the Huron-Perth playoff quarter-finals on Feb. 14 versus Goderich (5-4), with that result unknown as of press time.
