LISTOWEL – The Helen Whitfield Memorial Bonspiel was held at the Listowel Curling Club on Feb. 5 with a Hawaiian theme, the first running of the popular ladies’ event since 2019. Formerly the President’s Open Ladies Bonspiel established in 1979, the tournament name was changed in honour of Whitfield, an avid local curler, in 1994.
