The Knox Presbyterian Church Service Club recently celebrated its 80th anniversary. Formed in 1943 to encourage ladies to be of service to the church, members met at the homes of members and were encouraged to help the war effort – knitting and other activities. Today, the Service Club is active in fundraising dinners and lunches, and each year provides financial donations to various missions.
