The Nov. 11 Listowel Remembrance Day service saw a huge turnout from the public on Friday morning, as Royal Canadian Legion Branch 259, local dignitaries and special guests conducted the annual proceedings in honour of those who served our country and for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of democracy. It was the first full-scale service held at the Listowel Cenotaph since 2019, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
