NORTH PERTH – On Sept. 26 just after 1 a.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police officer was on general patrol in the Municipality of North Perth when they conducted a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver of the motor vehicle, the officer observed that the driver was displaying signs of impairment. As a result, the driver was arrested and transported to a local detachment where further tests were completed.
Susana Harder Dyck, 21, of Tillsonburg, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
A 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute to the accused. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
