Huron Feeding Systems donates $25K to BMGCC reno project

BRUSSELS – Building on the personal donation of their founders Joe and Deb Seili, Huron Feeding Systems has made a $25,000 donation to support the major renovations of the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre (BMGCC).

Huron Feeding Systems is a full-service supplier of crop management solutions.

They’ve operated in Brussels since 1978.

New Owners of HFS – Jacquie Waechter and Andrew Weishar – are keen to continue the philanthropic ways that Joe and Deb instilled in the values of the business and thought of no better way than to match the donation of their founders.

Inspiring Our Future Deputy Chair John Van Vliet recently accepted the donation from Andrew and Jacquie.

“It’s excellent to see Andrew, Jacquie and the new generation of HFS supporting our community with such a generous gift that builds on Joe and Deb’s legacy,” said Van Vliet.

The Inspiring Our Future team is grateful to HFS and all the local business that have pledged donations to the project.

The planned renovations to the BMGCC will bring the facility up to modern standards, provide something for people of all ages and interests, and revitalize the facility to be a hub for recreation the community can take pride in.

Any donations made to the Inspiring Our Future campaign will benefit the expansion of the dressing rooms, creation of an unobstructed heated viewing area, new entrance and foyer, roof replacement and several other modernizations.

Anyone interested in learning more about the project is encouraged to contact campaign chair Brian TenPas at 519-492-0214, campaign coordinator Roxane Nicholson at roxane@jamienicholson.ca, or any member of the campaign team.
