The Sunday morning rainfall tapered off just in time for the second edition of the Holly Jolly BBQ to take place in Listowel Memorial Park on Sept. 4. The fundraising event, held in memory of Holly Stemmler and in benefit of Kids Help Phone, featured opportunities for youth and families to learn about valuable mental health resources available to them, while also taking part in outdoor activities such as a bouncy castle, water balloon battle and the delicious lunchtime barbecue at the pavilion.
