Educational garden has plans for expansion, classes, and community

Connor Luczka Photo Food Bank Coordinator for the Salvation Army, Caroline Saunders, looks after the SA’s Harvest of Hope, an educational garden meant to grow produce for the food bank and provide a learning resource for the community. Even though it’s early in the season she has already been hard at work harvesting, composting, and organizing educational events. The next event is on May 30, when a planting party will fill up the garden next to their headquarters on Main Street.
