HANOVER – Wednesday, May 4 at Grace United Church in Hanover is the place to be if you would like to try singing in a choir.
Doors will be opening at 6:30 p.m. Please enter at the side door to the hall and not the main church entrance.
The Grey Bruce Singers (GBS) are mounting a short come-back session to get everyone together for several months of music with choir director Chris Burton and accompanist Norm Reintamm. They hope to offer some music in Heritage Square in June. The regular season opening is planned to start in September.
The membership fee for the spring session will be $25.
During this current increase in COVID cases, GBS will require that all those attending are double vaccinated and strongly recommend being triple vaccinated. Proof of vaccination is required on the first night you attend, prior to receiving any music. A three-ply mask must be worn during the entire time while in the Church, including singing. These requirements will be re-evaluated on an on-going basis.
The GBS look forward to seeing all of the existing members and encourage any new members to come out on May 4.
No auditions or experience is required: just a love to sing, meet new friends and to learn from the very qualified director and accompanist.
The GBS executive is exploring additional singing opportunities. More information will also be given at practice.
