Green’s Meat Market had a grand reopening earlier this year after being shut down due to a structure fire. As part of the celebrations, Green’s held a barbecue where all proceeds would be donated to the Fire Department of North Huron (FDNH). The event raised $4,000 and the decision was made to upgrade the department’s 11-year-old defibrillators with four new, modern units. FDNH says these new defibrillators will serve the two frontline fire apparatus at the Wingham and Blyth stations. Pictured, front row (from left): Deputy Fire Chief Chad Kregar and Kevin Green.
