BROCKTON – Saugeen Municipal Airport is proud to announce a new partnership with a new volunteer-based group, named Friends of Saugeen Municipal Airport.
As this organization is comprised of volunteers who are local pilots and residents, they are recruiting additional members who represent the communities of Brockton, Hanover, and West Grey. You must be sponsored by an active member who is in good standing.
To celebrate this new venture, they are seeking suggestions on a new name. The new name will be revealed at their October annual general meeting where the winner will be awarded a flight from Kuhl Aero Academy, the airport’s new flight school.
The new organization will be planning a “Kids Fly at SMA” event this summer for children ages 8-17 years old.
