FORMOSA – The Formosa Swans were welcomed to their Christmas gathering on Dec. 5 by President Mary Nichols. A short meeting saw the Swans discuss plans for the catering of the Municipality of South Bruce Christmas party. The Swans motioned to donate $300 to the Walkerton Food Bank.
A Christmas Story was read with a prize being moved either right or left as the story dictated until the end of the story and the last person holding the prize won. Whenever this game is played there is lots of laughs with members stealing gifts from each other.
Following the short meeting and fun time, the ladies all enjoyed all kinds of delicious Christmas goodies. The Swans meet monthly and their next meeting is on Jan. 2, 2023.
