Five local standouts named Women of Distinction

Awards, dancing, fundraising highlight ‘Blue Jeans and Bling’ event

The inaugural ‘Blue Jeans and Bling’ event was held on Nov. 4 at the Listowel Agricultural Hall, serving not only as a needed night out for local ladies, but also as a fundraiser for the United Way Perth-Huron’s North Perth Community Committee. Five North Perth Women of Distinction were honoured with awards at the event, who were nominated by their peers across a variety of different categories pertaining to their volunteerism or professional lives. LISTOWEL – North Perth is fortunate to have countless Women of Distinction within its ever-growing populace, and five of them were appropriately recognized during a recent event highlighting outstanding females in the community while also supporting a worthy cause.
