TEESWATER – A house fire in Teeswater earlier today has claimed the life of one individual.
South Bruce Fire and Rescue, Huron County EMS and the South Bruce OPP responded to the fire along Clinton Street South just after 4:30 a.m. on Feb. 18.
Police say one person was found inside the home. They were taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
Police are withholding the identity of the deceased until next of kin are properly notified.
According to a media release, South Bruce OPP, the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office and the coroner’s office are all investigating.
