NORTH PERTH – One person has died as a result of a two-vehicle crash near Molesworth early this morning.
Police say they received a report of the crash just after 6:30 a.m. on March 31. Perth County OPP, Perth County Paramedic Services and the North Perth Fire Department responded to the crash on Perth Line 86 at Perth Road 178.
According to police, two people were also transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The deceased was identified by police at Jordan Gilkinson, 25, of Howick Township.
The investigation is ongoing. Members of the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Team are assisting Perth County OPP with the investigated.
“Further updates will be provided as required,” states a release from Perth County OPP.
