Farmer’s ATV stolen while checking crops

ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH A local farmer was checking his crops on Halls Hill Line earlier this month, only to find his Honda ATV had been stolen out of his bean field.

Huron County OPP were told that the ATV was stolen from the field on July 17 sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Police say that the ATV was left unattended with the key in the ignition.

The owner of the ATV told police that he saw the suspect driving east on Zion Road.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 40 years of age with a black goatee.

The stolen ATV is described as a red 2019 Honda 500cc, four-wheel drive ATV with a tow bar attached to the front. The ATV is valued at approximately $9,000.
