The Elma U11 Express capped a dominant display of baseball by defeating host Ingersoll in its tournament held this past weekend. Elma went 3-0 in the round robin, crushed Exeter 18-4 in the semifinals and then topped Ingersoll 17-13 in the finale. “It was a team effort, with strong pitching, solid hitting and good fielding to lead us to the win,” said coach Jeff Smith.
