Driver charged with impaired operation

NORTH PERTH – A driver has been charged with an impaired-related offence in the Municipality of North Perth.

On Nov. 3 at approximately 12:30 a.m., a Perth County OPP officer was on general patrol when a vehicle stop was conducted on Line 57 in North Perth.

During the investigation, it was determined that the driver was displaying signs of impairment and open alcohol was observed in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and transported to a local operations centre for further testing.

Cory Hudson, 31, of North Perth, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
