NORTH PERTH – The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Stratford resident after a person was harassed during a domestic occurrence.
Police were contacted on Jan. 30 in regards to a dispute between two people who had formerly been in a relationship. During the investigation, it was determined that one person involved in the argument had harassed the other, and damaged property. The victim was not injured.
A 21-year-old resident of Stratford has been arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000, and harassing communications.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
