WINGHAM – The COVID-19 outbreak at the Wingham and District Hospital has been declared over by Huron Perth Public Health, as of Nov. 30.
The outbreak, in the inpatient unit at the hospital, was declared by Public Health on Nov. 21. A total of six patients and zero staff were identified as part of the outbreak.
“The Wingham and District Hospital staff and physicians are grateful for the patience demonstrated by our patients and community during this outbreak,” states a Dec. 1 release from the hospital.
