WINGHAM – The COVID-19 outbreak at Wingham and District Hospital has been declared over by Huron Perth Public Health, as of Oct. 26.
The outbreak was declared by HPPH on Oct. 18.
The hospital says five patients and zero staff were identified as part of the outbreak.
“The Wingham and District Hospital staff and physicians are grateful for the patience demonstrated by our patients and community during this outbreak,” states a release from the hospital.
Emergency department visits, ambulatory care services, patient admissions, diagnostic imaging and specialist visits continue to occur.
