Four Weddings and an Elvis is an adult comedy which takes audiences inside Sandy’s wedding chapel in Las Vegas to witness four very different weddings. The first wedding is between a couple intent on revenge (Erin Holman and Bill Carroll). They agree to be married by Elvis, played by Dennis Bushell. The second is a publicity wedding between the former stars of The Surfin’ Secret Agents (Jocie Pacey and Matt Stupar) who hope to resurrect their failing careers. Also introduced is an older minister played by Ken Coleman. The third is a wedding between a mild-mannered postal worker (Jeromy Wilhelm) and an ex-con (Alyssa Wells) which is interrupted by the ex-con’s former boyfriend, Fist (Jeremy Wright). The final wedding event is for Sandy, the chapel owner played by Adrianna Wilson. The play ends with an appearance by Sandy’s former husband, Ken (Rick Schuler) who gets the last word.
“We are certainly looking forward to being back on stage,” states a release from the County Towne Players. “Although mask mandates and vaccine passports are no longer in effect at Victoria Jubilee Hall, the County Towne Players wish to encourage individuals to wear a mask in the theatre as a way of protecting our more vulnerable patrons as well as our cast.
“We understand that the decision about mask wearing is yours to make and we will respect that decision.”
