BAY HILL, FLORIDA – Corey Conners has had plenty of success at many different tournaments on the PGA Tour, but there’s no question he steps it up for the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Following up last year’s performance when he finished in third at the iconic tournament named for one of professional golf’s most celebrated players, Conners finished in a tie for 11th at the 2022 edition, held this past weekend at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge near Orlando, Florida. Entering the final round on March 6 after carding 72, 73 and 69 through the first three days of the event, the 30-year-old Listowel professional shot a two-over-par 74 en route to his overall even-par finish just outside the top 10.

American Scottie Scheffler won the tournament with a five-under par 283. Conners earned $291,000 for his finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Conners also had an eleventh-place finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii back in mid-January. He is currently ranked 74th in the Fed Ex Cup standings, while earning just over $700,000 in winnings in 2021-22.

Conners will be in the field this weekend at The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Florida March 10-13. He finished seventh at the tournament in 2021.
