Local efforts to raise awareness and funding for area elementary school nutrition programs through the 2022 World Milk Day initiative saw nearly 170 cases of Ivanhoe (a subsidiary of Gay Lea) ‘Nothing But’ 100 per cent Canadian cheese snacks delivered to five schools on Feb. 6. Doug and Dave Johnston of Britton’s Maplevue Farms brought North Perth Westfield Elementary’s share on Monday, with the local Milk Day fundraiser supported by a number of businesses and individuals, including a substantial contribution from the Clifford Rotary Club.
