NORTH PERTH – Perth County OPP has charged a 30-year-old with impaired driving.
On Oct. 27 just before 11 p.m., Perth County OPP stopped a vehicle for speeding on Road 164 in the Municipality of North Perth.
During the investigation, the officer noted that the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside-screening device was administered. The driver was arrested and transported to a local operations center for further testing.
Daniel McKillop, 30, of Warwick Township, has been charged with: Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court (two counts), and failure to comply with undertaking.
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
