Bruce County council’s executive committee has approved a $500,000 contribution over five years to the Grey Bruce Health Services Addictions and Mental Health Wellness and Treatment Centre. The centre will be located at a former school in Owen Sound.

After a COVID-19-related hiatus, Grey Bruce Public Health is again looking at the prospect of amalgamating with another health unit or units, either voluntarily or by being “voluntold.”

The small but mighty Terry Fox Run in Walkerton did it again – raised a phenomenal $5,131 to help fund leading-edge cancer research projects. “Not bad for just 24 participants,” said run organizer John Markauskas, who commented on the dedicated individuals who participate in the run every year.
