Play Music on the Porch Day is Aug. 31, and Brockton’s Greg McLean is inviting everyone to join him, co-organizer Pat McNinch, and others at Market Garden Park – or their own porch – to celebrate.

Grey Bruce Farmers’ Week has been a mainstay for the agricultural industry in Grey and Bruce Counties since 1966. The featured commodities have evolved as the area’s agricultural focus has changed, but the mandate to provide information to producers and agribusiness has remained firm.

South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC) is asking for feedback and input on health care needs of the community, a press release states.

It’s official. The council position left vacant when Coun. Kym Hutcheon accepted the position of deputy mayor, will be filled through an application process.

Representatives from Brockton and the rest of Bruce County will have a busy few days when the Association of Municipalities of Ontario meets in Ottawa Aug. 18-21 for the annual conference.

Bruce County’s Official Plan is very much a “work in progress,” and has been since work on it began in 2018. Now, however, the stress is on the word “progress.”
