DRAYTON - Teeswater’s Matt Ballagh is joining the cast of the hit show, Opry Gold: Hits of the Kings and Queens of Country which will play at three different Drayton theatres this fall.

Rising country star and Mildmay native Owen Riegling has signed on with a major American label. 

The Township of North Huron held its second Music in the Park event on Aug. 27 at Cruickshank Park on Josephine Street.

For those in the audience that had direct connections to the story, they were delighted. For those who didn’t, they were equally entertained, as history unfolded, telling the story of one of its most notable citizens – Doc Cruickshank.
