Brussels Transport pledges $250,000 for BMG Community Centre project

BRUSSELS – The Jutzi Family of Brussels Transport Ltd. has committed a generous $250,000 donation to the Inspiring Our Future campaign to benefit the redevelopment of the BMG Community Centre.

Brussels Transport Ltd. is a third-generation family business that has been operating in Brussels for 64 years.

The Jutzis have always considered themselves a Brussels family and feel the community centre is a vital part of what makes the town a great place to grow a business and raise a family. President Jim Jutzi grew up in Brussels playing minor sports and sons Tyler, Chris and Ryan followed suit playing hockey and soccer.

Jutzi presented the donation to campaign chair Brian TenPas saying, “The Brussels community has shown us support and solidarity over the years. It only makes sense to give back. We want to see Brussels thrive for the next generation of our family and our employees’
families.”

The entire Inspiring Our Future campaign team extends a sincere thank-you to the Jutzi family. Donations like this made by Brussels Transport Ltd. will help with the creation of six expanded dressing rooms, a new heated viewing area, streamlined foyer, new roof and several other modernizations for the BMG Community Centre.

Anyone interested in learning more about the Inspiring Our Future campaign and supporting the future of recreation for Brussels is encouraged to contact the campaign chair, Brian TenPas at 519-492-0214 or campaign coordinator Roxane Nicholson at roxane@jamienicholson.ca.
