Brockton sets target of four per cent increase for 2022 budget

Current draft budget shows 6.8 per cent increase, council deems such an increase ‘unacceptable’

BROCKTON – Brockton is looking at a 6.8 per cent budget increase in its draft 2022 budget. The general consensus among council after two budget meetings and one regular council meeting is that 6.8 per cent is unacceptable, and most councillors would prefer a four per cent increase.
