Brockton resident charged with impaired driving

BRANT TOWNSHIP – A Brockton resident is facing multiple charges, including impaired driving, following a single vehicle crash last week.

South Bruce OPP responded to the incident on Bruce County Road 3 on Jan. 19 at 1:38 p.m. According to a media release, officers arrived at the scene and determined the driver had been drinking alcohol.

The driver was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver, 44-year-old Brandon Wilson from Brockton, was charged with impaired driving, operate over 80 milligrams, and having care or control of a vehicle with open liquor.

The accused is schedule to appear in court on Feb. 16 to answer to the charges.
